Samedi 2 avril, le coup d’envoi était ainsi symboliquement donné par le vernissage de la deuxième “Biennale de la céramique contemporaine”, sur le thème “Caprice du temps”. Comme chaque année, le Domaine de Villarceaux lance sa saison le premier week-end du mois d’avril. Et justement, il faisait particulièrement froid, ce matin-là, avant que la météo ne prenne des aspects beaucoup plus printanier par la suite. C’est dans les communs du manoir de Ninon, un beau bâtiment du XXIe siècle, que s’est tenue la deuxième Biennale de la céramique contemporaine.
Ce sont deux céramistes professionnelles du Vexin : Nadja LA GANZA (de Chérence) et Joëlle GERVAIS (de Villers-en-Arthies) qui ont sélectionné rigoureusement les quinze artistes exposés. Les critères : «la qualité et l’originalité des œuvres».
Cette biennale a été inaugurée par Thierry LABUSSIERE, le conservateur du Domaine, en présence de Magali DEA-FESCHOTTE, la présidente de l’association La Source-Villarceaux, avant la performance “live” de l’artiste Jean-François BOURLARD, avec ses cuissons expérimentales “Raku Punk” .
